March 25th and 26th, 2026: Two days of huge crowds at Coiltech in Augsburg are behind us. So many people were there: customers, prospects, OEMs, prototyping requests from Tier 1 suppliers, strong startups, and electric motor manufacturers. It was incredibly fun, and we're grateful to be part of such projects. It's why we're happy to get up in the morning and even pull an all-nighter if a project demands it.
Our trade fair conclusion: Yes, the Iran conflict is casting a dark shadow on the economy. But as we know, every crisis also presents an opportunity – paving the way for mobility, German engineering, and pan-European power. That's where we come in as a high-tech supplier of precision stacks and laminates. Together with Aussafer, we form the Electric Division of the European Consydera Group.
A major theme at our booth was amorphous metals for electric motors – we've primarily known these materials from shielding applications. We're taking a closer look at this, because our single-mode and ultrashort pulse technology – the "cold laser" – could offer real advantages in processing amorphous metal foils.
