History of HAILTEC
1998: Like many entrepreneurs, Wilfried Hailfinger started out in a garage. But a metalworking business needed space. In 2004, he persuaded his father to let him use the family's farm. So Wilfried took over his parents' farm after all – albeit not in the way he had imagined. His father, a farmer who handled large machinery, was initially skeptical: "You want to make money with such tiny metal parts?"
Soon, bending presses were installed in the former chicken coop, and the cowshed was transformed into a high-tech laser production facility. The resourceful founder explored new technologies and made a name for himself in the industry. Anyone who was stuck with a sample part or needed a brilliant idea was in the right place at HAILTEC. Even father Hailfinger was soon convinced of the huge success of the small parts.
When Wilfried Hailfinger died unexpectedly in 2016, he left a painful void. Fortunately, however, he was always generous with his knowledge and, over the years, had brought together engineers who were soulmates to support him. His "right-hand man," Alexander Renz, took over management overnight. Following the motto "flat hierarchies and cutting-edge technologies," Alex, together with a strong team, is continuing to develop the company in the spirit of the founder.
