What's more motivating than knowing what you're working for? For us, as curious technology fans, this company outing was a stroke of luck:
We were privileged to visit the "hallowed halls" of medical technology manufacturer Aesculap in Tuttlingen. Precision mechanical components are used there in instruments for minimally invasive surgery, for example. It was a wonderful feeling to see familiar components again and to watch them become life-saving tools.
